Is anyone else feeling love for Nathan Fillion today?
So… Drive. A failed Cannonball Run wannabe of a show created by Tim Minear and starring Nathan Fillion, with guest appearances by Amy Acker and Emma Stone, was cancelled after only four episodes. Two additional episodes were released for digital distribution only. Drive debuted in April 2007, and obviously didn’t last very long.
Honestly, I only watched this show for the promise of Nathan Fillion and Amy Acker. Once I got into watching the episodes, they were okay, but they didn’t really keep my interest all that much. And I guess that’s what they rest of the viewing audience was thinking. Not gonna lie, it was a cute concept, but it just never really fleshed out. I think there were too many stories going on at once, it was difficult to focus – not that I remember it all that clearly other than I DVR‘d it and watched the episodes, but come on, that was five years ago.
So, that’s the D for the Day, gentle readers. Enjoy!

Oh you just hit on one of my passions, Mr. Nathan Fillion.
They could film him just sitting, un-moving and watching paint dry and I would watch it for hours. 🙂

I remember this show. It looked promising to me, they didn’t give it a chance. I didn’t know that they had 2 episodes digitally distributed. Thanks for the info. Happy A-Z

I featured Nathan on my B day… though in his Firefly nakedness (B is for butt, after all), but I adore him. Had I known about Drive, I would have watched. I will see if I can find what they made… I figure I could watch Nathan fold socks and be happy (I’ve been a fan since he was Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live)

I don’t know the show you’ve mentioned. However, I read your post. Have a happy time following along with each day’s challenge.

I loved Nathan Fillion in Firefly, but I never heard of Drive. Btw, the DVD set of Firefly has the unaired episode(s).

I have never heard of that show {guess that is not surprising though}! I also have never heard of those actors/actresses though, so I am going to have to check them out!
