the journey to self enlightenment through television

Me holding Olivia

Hello, Gentle Readers!  My name is Kerri, with a “K.”

I figured it was high time that I update this little “about me” section of the blog, considering it’s been a looooong time since the last time it’s been updated.

Who am I, you must be wondering by now… Well, I’m a blogger.  An aspiring TV writer and eventual showrunner (God willing).  I’m a woman of many talents and mad skills in many different areas.

What I’m discovering now in life is that there’s so much more than just the things I’m used to.  I’ve recently caught the photo-bug.  Now all I have to do is upgrade the equipment, and I can feel like a grown up.  Or not.  Either way, photography has really struck a chord as of late, and some of my pictures have just been fantastic.  If I do say so myself.

I’m constantly struggling with a blogging identity.  Once upon a time, I was the TV Slut, but have since learned there’s more to me than just television.  But I’m still searching to be enlightened and doing so by relating to one thing that has remained a constant love in my life.  Television.

I am not lazy.  Just because I watch a lot of TV and love it so much does not mean I’m not active and interested in other things.  I have a fiance that keeps me as active and occuppied as possible.  And I mention that because I don’t want to say lame singles ad things like SWF loves long walks on the beach, kittens and cuddling.  Sorry.  No.

Although, the beach is starting to grow on me again.  And I do love kittens.

But this is not a singles ad.  This is my life.  My love.  And I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Mary! Thanks for your comments…and glad you like my site.
I think I’ve figured out why you’re seeing your email address still posted. I’m not seeing it on the comment…and I’ve checked the site from three other computers, and it doesn’t look like it’s showing anywhere. The problem may be that you’re just looking at it from the same computer and are still logged in, so the computer thinks you’re not done editing. If you check from a different computer, or perhaps just clear the history and empty out the cookies/cache, you should have no problem…and hopefully you won’t see your email posted. But if you still have a problem, or it’s still showing up, feel free to email me @
    Thanks again!

Hey, Kerri, I like your site! Question: I posted a comment under your 2/13 entry and when I come back to that page, it looks like my email address is still visible to all. Your “reply” form says that the email address “will not be published”. Am I just confused? Thanks.

Hi Kerri. Sorry for bombarding your site with so many comments, but its been really enjoyable reading someone else’s opinions on a lot of the shows I watch too. I’ve been a follower of the ‘Whedon’verse’ since BTVS. And of course I’m a big Caprica fan, a lot of that coming from my near obsession with Battlestar Galactica. Just wanted to say hi and let you know I’d be checking in with your site from time to time!

Hey Chris! Thanks for the comments, I don’t mind the bombardment at all. 🙂 By all means, if you’ve got something to say, definitely say it 🙂
