the shameless watching of tv

the story behind the story

Hi, all! And welcome to my world…the fabulous world of television. I watch it, I love it. What’s not to love? Complex storylines mixed with a healthy dose of comedy…it can’t get any better.

Well, my name is Kerri, and I am The TV Geek! (Wicked cool name, huh?) Writing is my niche. From dramatic stories to upbeat comedies. I’m learning the ins and outs of television writing and someday hope to become a part of something that I love so dearly.

I’m just like anyone else out there.  A blogger and fangirl who is just looking to entertain herself and gain a little insight into the lives of the characters I love and the ones I hate.  And I love expressing my opinions to those gentle readers who are out there and willing to read what I have to say.

I own an iPhone, an iBook and an iPod.  I’m an Apple-girl.  Once you go Mac, you never go back.  Or so they say.  But I agree.

240188621_18777fc445.jpgI have a deep obsession with James Marsters, better known as Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  I even got the chance to meet him a year ago during his convention James Marsters & Friends.  That was quite the event for a fan.  Along with James, I met Mercedes McNab, also from the Buffy and Angel series.  Would I do it again?  You betcha!

I love comedies and dramas, and I’m beginning to despise reality tv. Sure, there are some shows that take me back, like The Real World and American Idol, but to be quite honest, reality tv is just so passe.

Well, I’d list the shows I love to watch, but you’re going to read about them anyway. So, enjoy!

Hey, Kerri, I like your site! Question: I posted a comment under your 2/13 entry and when I come back to that page, it looks like my email address is still visible to all. Your “reply” form says that the email address “will not be published”. Am I just confused? Thanks.

Hi Mary! Thanks for your comments…and glad you like my site.
I think I’ve figured out why you’re seeing your email address still posted. I’m not seeing it on the comment…and I’ve checked the site from three other computers, and it doesn’t look like it’s showing anywhere. The problem may be that you’re just looking at it from the same computer and are still logged in, so the computer thinks you’re not done editing. If you check from a different computer, or perhaps just clear the history and empty out the cookies/cache, you should have no problem…and hopefully you won’t see your email posted. But if you still have a problem, or it’s still showing up, feel free to email me @ Shameless.TV@gmail.com
Thanks again!

Shameless TV Quotes

You know who is confused? Bimbos. They’re easily confused. It’s one of the thousand little things I love about them. I love their vacant, trusting stares; their sluggish, unencumbered minds; their unresolved daddy issues. I love them Lily, and they love me. Bimbos have always been there for me, through thick and thin—mostly thin. B-man don’t do thick crust, what up! -- Barney, "Do I Know You?"
