So, here’s what I watched tonite…
From the DVR:
The Office – “Gossip” (Season Premiere – S6, Ep1)
Michael searches for office gossip to share, while Andy struggles with his heterosexuality.
Thoughts: Um, this opener was unbelievably funny. The cold open was absolutely hysterical with Michael, Dwight and Andy playing “Par Core” around the office and in the parking lot. What did we find out in this episode? So much. Everyone has a secret to share. Pam is pregnant. Stanley is having an affair. Or WAS having an affair. And Andy isn’t gay. Or is he? He kept screaming for Michael to tell him since Michael was the one that started the rumor in the first place.
Community – “Pilot” (Series Premiere – S1, Ep1)
A new band of misfits at Greendale Community College, led by Jeff Winger, form a study group where they eventually learn more about themselves than the coursework.
Thoughts: Wow. I don’t know what to say about this one. I actually REALLY enjoyed this. And that was only the first episode. It’s pretty rare for me to really attach myself to a show after just the first episode. Even though I’ve done it before, it does not happen often. One of my favorite lines (said by a character whose name I do not yet know) after receiving a text message, and then his friend gets one : “Does yours say you have to pee too?” Bloody. Hysterical.
What’s on the docket for tomorrow? Well, I recorded Bones and Vampire Diaries, so I’ll have to watch those in the morning, perhaps before recording whatever is going to be on tomorrow night. Hmmm…
