I’m not entirely sure why this is news NOW considering the one time Angel star (as well as AWESOME cameos on Veronica Mars among other things) had filed divorce papers last August and a detailed document indicating her financial woes, due to the Writer’s Strike.
I guess that means she’s available *wink wink.*
Anyway, her and her Hardy (her husband) will share physical joint custody of their son, alternating holidays, as well as getting two weeks a piece for vacation time.
Well, I doubt she’ll have financial issues for long. She’s talented AND beautiful. Who wouldn’t want to see her onscreen again? I know I would.
Now, the only issue I’m finding is that she filed for divorce in August of last year, stating that she new about the impending Writer’s Strike, which is probably true. I think a LOT of people had know about it beforehand. But “irreconcilable differences”? The kicker in this story (and you can find the full article here) is that Carpenter will be required to pay $6000 in legal fees for her ex, as well as $300 a month in alimony. Poor Cordy. I guess all we can do wait for her to make her grand reappearance.

Regardless, I’m glad she’s newly single. I never liked Damian. CC was smart getting that prenup. Damian doesn’t even make much money, so if he filed for divorce, he couldn’t even afford to pay HER. But, she has to pay for HIS attorney fees and pay HIM $300 a month for child support? They will both have physical custody of him. She shouldn’t have to pay Damian anything. Ugh. I’m sure Charisma is still doing great, financially. She didn’t want to have to put out money during the strike because we didn’t know how long is was going to be, and I can understand she wants to protect HER money
Oh, we’re going to be seeing CC in the ABC Family show ‘Greek’ in the season two premiere. She appeared in the first season, for an episode, but this time she may be in more than one episode. Her character is great. I hope to see her on more shows this Fall. She’s definitely talented and beautiful. I don’t understand why she doesn’t have a show!

I don’t understand why she isn’t already starring in her own television show! I love Charisma, I think she’s amazing, and here’s to hoping someone utilizes her talent very soon!
