I couldn't agree more. I was initially very "whatever" and disappointed by the whole Zack thing, but then I realize they've already given us his replacement in an earlier scene with the FBI forensics guy that Zack was messing with, so once they had that scene (and I went back over it on the DVR), the ending was rather a dead giveaway.
