Maintenance troubles

Hello again, gentle readers.  I’ve been doing a bit of housecleaning here, so please bear with me as I go into “maintenance mode.”  Unfortunately, all of my sidebar widgets have disappeared, which I can’t seem to get back, even if I change the theme.  Hopefully, this will be taken care of in the next few days.

In the meantime, I will be trying everything I can to get this problem worked out on my own.

Also, I’ll be sitting here being the eternal pessimistic optimist while watch the Red Sox in Colorado, being beaten mercilessly by the Rockies.  (Yes, I do realize that if the Rockies don’t win that Boston will be a-buzz with excitement and I may have to retract my statement.  I’m willing to live with that.)
