Eliza back on FOX?

It is entirely possible. Eliza Dushku has signed a development deal with FOX. As well as a new pilot, she’s also being presented with existing scripts. FOX has got Dushku-fever.

I’m completely pleased by that. Eliza is strong, charismatic, and absolutely electrifying and entrancing onscreen. After her title drama Tru Calling was cancelled, I was sure she wouldn’t be on tv for a long time. Guess I was wrong. Arguably, FOX hasn’t been kind to Eliza’s drama. Tru Calling was never really given a chance to gain an audience. A season and a half is hardly enough time to judge. I understand that results and ratings are what matter. I also understand that Tru Calling may have had nowhere to go. But who’s to say it didn’t? They didn’t try. Ah, well. I still bought the DVDs.

If things go well, I’m hoping to her see her in another show in January. But no matter what happens, the development deal means she still gets to keep her money, failed show or successful show.
