Not the Boy Next Door

More of the terrifying, yet cool and collected person you never want to cross paths with.  Dexter.

I’ve been hearing quite a bit about this show.  But more along the lines of Dexter being some time of rational serial killer instead of a forensic analyst who kills and disects criminals that escape the law.

Renting the entire season seemed like a good idea.  So, my plans for the weekend include watching the entire first season of Dexter  from beginning to end. Not everyone is happy about my plan.

I wonder if that says something about me, that I’m fascinated with serial killers? I wouldn’t call it an obsession, but I will admit that every chance I get I’ll watch the movies and the documentaries about their lives and crimes. It genuinely terrifies me. But it’s like a car wreck or a hockey game. You just can’t look away.

I think Dexter has the possibility of scaring me, so now I have not choice but to watch it. Wish me luck, gentle readers. You know, I think what really gets me is that he looks normal, but then he smirks and it’s one of those looks that you can just tell he has issues.
