Cynicism

I wonder when I got to be so cynical.  Watching American Idol last night just really didn’t do it for me like it used to.  Oh, and Jordin Sparks is the new AMERICAN IDOL, in case you were wondering. 

But the night as a whole, just kept dragging on.  Yeah, it had it’s fun moments with the “Idol Awards” for “best buddies” which had me in tears from laughing so hard.  It was the monkey lookin kid and the big nerdy kid… Still dying.

But  I really didn’t get into it.  I really felt for awhile that Blake should have one, but that was based on the performance he did Wednesday night, rather than the one everyone voted for on Tuesday.

I guess, Jordin is going to be a good role model for younger girls, seeing as though she is the youngest American Idol to date.  Hopefully she’ll actually do something with her title right away, rather than wait a bunch of time (*ahem* Fantasia, Rueben, and Taylor)

I also hear Simon Cowell say during the Red Carpet Special that he won’t be doing American Idol anymore.  I say, then why watch?
