V Mars is no more…

I just wanted to get this out there now… the CW has decided to nix Veronica Mars and allegedly, next week’s new episode with serve as the series finale.  However, the fate of the show will still be in the air until June 15, giving writer/director Rob Thomas time to get together a new script of Veronica the FBI agent.

I think it’s a great concept, but I’m not at all surprised it’s missing from the fall lineup.  It had a good run and it had it’s hit-or-miss moments, but I’ll always love the show.

Later today, I’ll post the full lists of the fall lineups for CBS, FOX and the CW.

Goodbye, Veronica.
