Dresden Files on Sci-fi
If this isn’t luck, I don’t know what is…
From the author of the Dresden books (Storm Front, Fool Moon, Grave Peril, Summer Knight etc.), and audiobooks read by my favorite former ensouled vampire, James Marsters, comes a new series on the Sci-fi channel, called The Dresden Files. Premiering on Sunday before Battlestar Galactica.
“Based on Jim Butcher’s best-selling novels, The Dresden Files tells the story of Harry Dresden (Paul Blackthorne), a regular-guy private detective with extraordinary abilities. While most people see assaults, kidnappings or murders as the work of people with a depraved indifference for human pain, Harry is as likely as not to see the work of supernatural villains.” scifi.com/dresden
I couldn’t be more ecstatic about the upcoming premiere. However, the only flaw I see with the show is the lack of James Marsters in the role of Harry Dresden. I’m sure Paul Blackthorne will be fantastic in the role, but listening to James read the audiobooks was a perfect topping to a great story.
So, Sunday night, 9pm. Be there.
